Each year Shepherd of the hills puts on a fundraising campaign. For the years 2023 & 2024 they asked me to illustrate a "funds progress/goal board" that fit the campaign theme.
The theme was "Bloom into". The client requested me to incorporate a bloomed flower, with the stem being a tracker they could color in to show how much money had been raised so far. They also requested for me to have a spot with their pledge goal for the fundraiser. A 3d made ladybug would be used to climb up the flower stem as they got closer to the fundraiser goal.

The theme was "New Year". The client only asked me to incorporate fireworks, but I thought it would be interesting to incorporate an element of the church. The idea I landed on illustrated the New York, new years ball drop and fireworks. The SHPC building is drawn at the bottom of the ball drop, as if it took place there. The cross on the building illuminated by the bright screens on the One Times Square building. The ball of the new years ball drop concept, would be done using a 3d made ball, so they could "drop the ball" the closer they got the the fundraiser goal.
